The healing power of the Dead Sea:
The water of the Dead Sea has 29% of salt & mineral contents, the highest of all seas with especially high concentration of Calcium, Magnesium (anti – allergic effect), Bromine (relaxing effect) and of Bitumen which makes the skin more photosensitive and also has an anti – inflammatory effect.
The healing power of the air is related to its unique content and the special atmospheric layer. This layer is created through the high rate of evaporation caused by high temperatures all year round, low humidity and high atmospheric pressure. The extremely pure and dry air is the richest in oxygen content in the world.
Of more than 330 sunny days of the year, the atmospheric layer filters out the harmful UVB sunrays, allowing tanning rather than burning, The UVA rays that do penetrate are suitable for therapeutic purposes.
In addition, high concentration of dark peloid mud, suitable for therapeutic purposes, are found on the shores of the Dead Sea.

• General and dermatological check up
• Steroids are stopped 4 weeks prior therapy
• Depending on skin type and skin sensitivity gradually increasing exposure to UV – rays ( measurement of erythema and melanin index )
• Depending on skin disorder and skin condition gradually increasing bathing times
• Patients with infectious diseases or allergic to sunlight are excluded
• Daily follow up – data registered
• Lubricants and oils, keratolytic ointments are used topically, oil bath and coal tar applied if needed

This establishment with its beautiful architecture is considered a paradise for the patients who prefer to keep themselves away from the crowded coasts surrounded with unique mountains and virgin nature in which the visitor can find convenience, convalescence and sufficient place to spend a relaxation period as he wish in this hospitable country and family atmosphere. This relaxation station designed in a manner to give the guest a view to the sea and provide a 4-star service in the hotel or the Bungalow with a separate coast and swimming pool. The Dead Sea Spa Medical Center is integrated in this station and contains in addition to the dermatology treatment rooms, massage and Swedish exercised equipment also mud compresses. Additionally it provides natural sun bathing areas attached to the medical center directly on the shore.
The Medical Center director is a dermatologist, fluent in German language and has a good experience in climatic therapy for Dermatology. The Medical team in the Medical Center include a GP Physician, fluent in German Language and a physiotherapy physician.

What is meant by climatic therapy?
All the climatic factors available in addition to bathing in the Dead Sea water (Thalasstherapic) is called the climatic therapy.
The climatic therapy for dermatology is proven successful in treatment of psoriasis arthropathic and Psoriasis diseases. Furthermore, other diseases can be cured such as neurodermitis, diseases and the vitro, achtyosis, para psoriasis group as well as arthrosis, rheuma and Arthritis. Patients with acute, infectious, chronic and photo related skin diseases as well as heart, blood circulation, palpitation, recurrent thrombophlebitis, severe varicosis, post-thrombotic syndrome, vlcus scrves, marchumar therapy and Epilepsy as well as Rheumatic fever and psychiatric diseases should avoid the climatic therapy.


Guidelines for initiation of climatic therapy process:

• Cortisone ointment therapy should be stopped four weeks prior to initiation of climatic therapy.
• In case of head psoriasis, a hair cut is recommended.
• To bring sufficient amount of prescribed medication for other diseases.
• Sun glasses and sunshine protective creams are necessary.
